Some of the things I did was listen to speakers, which were way cool and I learned a lot. My favorite speaker, Jim Rhoades, talked about getting out of our comfort zones. He had us do this simulation which was awesome. It was called Popsicle Sticks and you had to stare into people's eyes that were seven inch's away from yours, it was a little weird at first but I got over that and had lots of fun. Another simulation we did was a little unrealistic but it was OK I guess, it was a simulation of an atomic bomb attack on the U.S. I was one of the first to die so I didn't have as much fun as I could have :( . Another thing I did was Zumba at 5:00 in the morning. When I first heard that we were doing zumba I wasn't very excited because I had heard that it isn't very fun and that it is hard, but I guess grown~ups don't know how to have fun if they don't like zumba because I had a blast, it was a little embarrassing at first because I can't move my hips very good but I got over that and had lots of fun. Kaden and I were in the back so we couldn't see the instructor very good, so we were doing our own thing most of the time. There was a dance, it was way fun I got to learn some new dances and meet some new people. Another thing I did was go around with my friend Maegan, who is awesome, and give random people hugs which was kind of weird but we had fun. I got to hang out with Maegan a lot during YFF, which was nice since we got to become better friends. Some other things that we did was some book discussions on The Merchant of Venice, Prince Caspian, The Hobbit, and Say Go Be Do. They were all really good discussions and I got a lot out of them, except the Merchant of Venice one, Maegan and I were dreading the discussion for that one because we both didn't read it, so we had no idea what anyone was talking about. We also went on a hike that was way fun. Where we were was way pretty, it was up by Zion national park. During the hike the counselors had us go in the woods to meditate and feel spiritual for about 30 minutes. I was unable to do both because I was being attacked by the biggest ants I have ever seen, they were every where so I didn't have very much fun with that activity. The food at YFF wasn't the best I'm sorry to say, we had protein shakes for breakfast they were nasty, luckily Big-D planed for the shakes and brought pop tarts :) we also had rice with gravy, spaghetti, and if you know me I hate both, burgers, probably the best thing we ate, and taco salad which was alright. But other than the food every thing was awesome at YFF, and I am looking forward to going next year.

A Weekend at my Dads
Last Friday me and Star went to our dads for the weekend. We got there around lunch time so we ate lunch, then we hung out until Madi and Ace got home from school then we hung out some more. For dinner we had a Turkey, mashed potatoes and some corn, it was way good I don't really like turkey but I liked it this time. after dinner I got to open presents for my birthday, my dad gave me little things(.20g air soft~bbs, a shoulder strap) at first that built up to the big present, a gas powered full or semi auto M4A1 air~soft gun, It is totally awesome I can't wait for the next air~soft war now:) after presents we had cake and hung out some more. On Saturday I was the first one up (I usually am there) so I did my chores and ate breakfast while I waited for everyone to wake up, my dad and mom had to go to work so I had to baby~sit most of the day. Me and Ace are way close, even though he is seven years younger than me, so we are usually together, playing video games, playing outside or just goofing off and having fun. One of mine and Ace's favorite things to do is turn on dance music way loud(we do this only when I'm babysitting) and act out the song or have a dance off, me and Ace are trying to see who can learn to do the worm first:) Saturday was one of our usual lazy Vegas days, we didn't do anything I shot my gun a bit but other than that I just played with Ace. On Sunday it was way hot so me and Ace jumped in our swimming pool for the first time this year it was cold at first but it felt way good, we started having jumping contests and stuff like that, it was way fun:) The girls went to the movies on Sunday they saw the new Shrek, me and Ace didn't go because he had already seen it and I didn't want to, so we played outside and had fun. On Monday me and Star had to go home so me and Ace went and did what we usually do before I leave, play Halo online and pwn people, always fun:)

My Birthday!!!
Hey, yesterday was my birthday!!! I am now 15!!! I feel the same though:) for my birthday we went to breakfast at the Village Inn, It was sooo good:) After breakfast we went home and hung out for a little bit, then everybody had to go shopping for birthday presents for me because Mom and Dad were on a 10 year late honeymoon in Mexico last week. After everyone left I called my friends Hayden and his brother Carter, so they came over and we goofed off and had fun, played a little video games, and jumped on the tramp. When everyone came home finally It was time for dinner so Hayden and Carter had to leave. for dinner I wanted steak so I could have A1 sauce, we didn't have any A1 sauce:( but it was still good, we also had mashed potatoes and gravy, and corn on the cob. After dinner Mom and Dad thought it would be fun to torture me be not letting me open my presents for another hour or so, I didn't think it was very fun:( They finally let me open my presents and this is what I got, $100, blank sheet music, and a journal from Mom and Dad. Queens greatest hits CD from Star, tennis balls from Dylan(not sure why), and gum from Cate and Ean, a card from aunt Arica with a gift card for Barns&Nobles, and cards from Grandma and Grandpa and Great Grandma. After presents we had cake, I usually get Pie when its my birthday but I wanted Cheese Cake this year, nobody really like cheese cake I found out so Me, Mom, Dad and Grandma had it to our selves:). After cake Mom and Dad showed us pictures from their trip, It looked like lots of fun and I wish I could have gone. They then gave us some things they had bought for us down there, I got a cool dagger kind of thing, a cool bracelet, a little bobble head turtle and a shirt, they were all way cool. By the time we were done it was almost 11 so we just went to bed. It was so far the best birthdaay that I have had:)

Under the Broadway Lights.
Yesterday I went to a play that the Performing Arts class that my school does, I dropped out of it. All my friends were in it and they all did a wonderful job. The play was set in the 1930-40's and was about different people that live in New York, and that are in Broadway, dreaming of being in Broadway or operating a business around Broadway. My friend Joseph Gierisch was a hillbilly, Jerry, from Oklahoma who ran away from home to join Broadway with his friend, They get to New York but don't get into Broadway, instead they join a group of "Newsie's" that is ran by Manfred, played by Brad Bowler, who is trying to make a living by using others, including his sister Maggie, played by Aubrey Forsyth, who dreams of being in Broadway, but is stuck selling flowers in front of a theater, and befriends a star named Victoria, played by Shannon Hess, who trys to tell Maggie that it might not be the life she wants. David, played by Dan Bowler, Is Manfred's right hand man but wants to get out of the life he is living so he can make an honest living and take care of his sister who is ill and his new girlfriend. Sly Simmons, played by Nicholas Gierisch, Is a director at Broadway he is trying to find an assistant, but is a jerk to his secretary Evelyn, played by Brittani Mott, who wants to be his assistant and who is doing all the duties that an assistant is supposed to do, because she is a girl. Sly also is to busy with his theater life that he forgets his wife's birthday, witch leads to some difficulties. In the end everything worked out (of course)David gets all the people that work for Manfred to stand up to him and leave him, witch leaves Manfred broken, and lives happily ever after. Jerry and his friend Sherman, played by Seth McCausland, are happy with their new position in a newspaper. Maggie is discovered by Evelyn and will star in Sly Simmons next production, She is also the only one who gave Manfred a second chance by making him her chauffeur . Evelyn becomes Sly's assistant because she put him in his place and found him a new star for him. Sly quits being a jerk to everyone and makes it up to his wife, played by Karlee Brinkerhoff. So in the end everyone is happy. Tina Forsyth one of the mentors of the class wrote the entire play but not all the songs she used songs from other famous musicals, she did a very good job.
After the play I was invited to the Actors Party, I had a lot of fun hanging out with my friends and watching them perform, I am kinda bummed that I dropped out of the class though. oh well there is always next year.

Spring Break
This last week was Spring Break, so far it has been fun. It started out with me and Star going to our dads for most of the week, it rained almost the entire time that we were there and when it wasn't raining it was cold so we didn't go do anything but we went out to lunch and dinner a couple of times, me and Ace hung out most of the time. We had a push up~sit up~pull up contest, Ace won the push up, Star won the sit up, I won the pull up and Madi won the best effort award, our prize was a candy bar which all us kids thought was kinda funny but we enjoyed the candy. Me and Star came home on Thursday, it was kinda late so Star went to bed but I stayed up and wached Behind Enemy Line's which I loved even though mom thought I wouldn't like it.
On Friday after I got all my chores done I hung out with Tanner and Bryson, we went to the park for about an hour and had an airsoft war, after that we went to Tanner's house and jumped on the trampoline for the rest of the day. On Saturday I had a air soft war with all my friends from Common Wealth, it lasted for about four hours it was lots of fun but frustrating at the same time because nobody was being very honest when they got shot so because of that nobody won. Today is Sunday I had to teach in Teachers Quorum about learning and getting a good education. In Sunday School I learned about Joseph with the colorful coat and how he was sold into slavery, he must have had a lot of faith to get though all the obsticles that were placed before him. Like I said its been a great week.

Talk on Sunday!!!
I had to give a talk today in sacrament meeting. I was warned on Wednesday, but I didn't do anything until Friday night because I love procrastinating. my subject was how young men's helps me realize that we are children of the most high. It took me all day Saturday( from sun up to sun down, no joke) to figure out what I was going to say, with a little help from mother I was able to finish before midnight. My adventure didn't stop there though, I didn't get a lot of sleep because I would wake up every hour on the hour ( a special ability that I get when im nervous). when I woke up on Sunday I didn't feel very good, but still had to church. It didn't help that my friends, when they found out that I was speaking, were saying things like "don't choke" and "don't die". One of the things that calmed me down was the young woman that would be speaking with me (she was very cute), we talked a bit and then it was time, luckily she had to go first, during her talk I said a little prayer and afterwards didn't feel nervous at all. It was my turn next, I did it very well I was told by many people afterwards, all my friends were amazed and said I sounded like a grown up they were even more surprised when I told them it was only my third time speaking. well I was happy that it was over but was already looking forward to the next time that I have to give a talk.
I forgot to say that it was valentines day today, I didn't get any cards except the one my parents gave me with a box of chocolates, oh well. I had a good day!

I just finished this book today. it was for a class that I am taking called Hero Project, its a class that is focused on the hero's of the WWII era. the book is called Mischling 2nd degree, its a true story about a girl who lived in Germany during WWII, she becomes a member of the Hitler Youth and is sent to a three different camps for girls in the Hitler Youth because of the bombings over Berlin. I thought that it was a good book and would read it again.
